Rushmore is simple: It is the story of Jonathan Rushmore, a man. One Man who believes he has everything in the world going his way, that he is in control. A young man who has achieved much is his life, served in the military and is currently the youngest council member of Mercourt Colony. With a beautiful girlfriend, and a prestigious political position, Rushmore believes he is poised for so much more in life. Never realizing just how easy one's life can be turned around, how no one is really in control.

In one brief moment Rushmore's world is turned upside down. He loses everything, and everyone. Even those that would help, can't. His colony, his girlfriend, betray him, for what reason they don't even know.

With the arrival of Colonel Irons and his team to Mercourt, Rushmore becomes Public Enemy #1. Wanted and hunted by Irons and his men, Rushmore seeks to find the truth behind accusations against him.

But will finding the truth set him free?

Rushmore: Fallen Shall Rise is the six-issue mini-series follow-up to the original graphic novel and the second part of the “Rushmore Trilogy.”
